Human beings for as long as recorded have had laws to define what is right and what is wrong. Due to these laws in day to day life people are held back when making physical choices however there is also an underlying mental and emotional struggle which hinders decision making. This work explores this topic in a personal manner.

The concepts of good and evil are what makes us who we are, but when there is a third party which is the inquisitor of these two sides, it tends to bring in more inner conflict to the point where it can either make or break a person.

By using colours to represent emotions within the sculptures and paintings, it has become possible to show physical manifestations of this moral conflict within one’s self.

In this work, the portrayal of humanity is seen through the artist’s eyes and personal experiences, which has allowed them to bring forth their position on this matter in physical form.

Therefore the overarching theme is one of internal strife and allows people to ponder and intriguing question; is this struggle in fact what makes us human?
